Jose Afonso

Councillor for Parsons Green & Sanford Ward
Leader of the Opposition

Jose Afonso has lived in Hammersmith & Fulham his entire life, attending school in the Borough at Holy Cross Primary School and the London Oratory School. Jose works as an Associate at the FCA and is a keen reader, particularly in the areas of history and politics. He has served as Leader of the Opposition since 2025.

Two Labour defections to the Green Party!

Conservative Leader of the Opposition in LBHF, Cllr Jose Afonso, has released a statement following the news that two Labour Councillors have defected to the Green Party.
