Aliya has lived in Parsons Green with her husband and two sons for the last 10 years and in London for nearly 20 years. She runs her own educational software and App development company. Aliya is a Maths and Computer Science Teacher at Lady Margaret School, and previously taught at The Hurlingham Academy. She is actively involved in many local organisations including the H&F Volunteer Centre, the Society of Fulham Artists and Potters, and the Fulham Palace Trust. Aliya is passionate about our local parks and fixing broken/uneven pavements. She is an advocate for step-free access at Putney Bridge station. She wants residents to be able to enjoy our Borough safely and her priorities include cracking down on crime and anti-social behaviour; dealing with fly-tipping and graffiti; and improving air quality and traffic congestion.
