Stop TfL's Plan to Jam Up Local Streets

TfL want to add a cycle lane onto Shepherd’s Bush Roundabout

·         It already has 2 cycleways.

·         It has had only 1 slight cycle accident on it over several years.

This means removing a traffic lane, creating congestion and pushing traffic into local streets in Brook Green, Addison, Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith Grove.

Less than 12% of residents and 30% of cyclists support it but TfL want to push ahead.

Residents have developed a better alternative, upgrading the existing cycling infrastructure around the roundabout periphery which is already popular and safe.

TfL can only go ahead if Hammersmith & Fulham Council approves this scheme.

Send Hammersmith & Fulham Council a clear message to:

1.  Reject the TfL Shepherd’s Bush Roundabout proposal.

2.  Consider the alternative proposal that is safe and would not cause traffic chaos.

So, let’s send the Labour Council a clear message, sign our petition here to demand that the Labour Cabinet Member for Public Realm to reject the TfL Holland Park Roundabout proposal and for them to consider the resident-led alternative proposal that is safe for cyclists and would not cause traffic chaos.
