McDonald’s is appealing Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s decision to refuse a 24/7 licence for its North End Road branch. The appeal will be heard 2–6 February at City of London Magistrates’ Court.
If McDonald’s wins, it won’t stop there. A successful appeal would set a precedent, encouraging other fast-food chains to apply for round-the-clock opening. That risks turning North End Road into a late-night “Burger Mile” with increased antisocial behaviour, noise, litter, and delivery scooters operating throughout the night in a residential area.
This is our chance to send a clear message before the hearing.
Please add your name to our petition opposing McDonald’s appeal and help protect the character, safety, and liveability of our neighbourhood.
- The deadline is 2nd February.
- Sign the petition today and share on your neighbourhood WhatsApp group.
Together, we can stop North End Road becoming a 24-hour fast-food strip.
