As many of you may have seen, the Labour Council have decided to install parklets on the Wandsworth Bridge Road.
We believe it is obscene that your money should be used to create an obstacle course on Wandsworth Bridge Road that forces cyclists into traffic lanes, is increasing congestion and makes air pollution worse.
That is why we have launched a petition against the parklets that have been put on Wandsworth Bridge Road.
These obscene creations have had no consultation, and the businesses they have been placed in front of have not been asked.
For a Council that parades the mantra of “ruthlessly financially efficient”, this could not be a clearer example of this Labour administration’s ability to waste your money.
And all while their Labour Government nationally have cut the winter fuel allowance for our poorest pensioners here in Hammersmith & Fulham and put the future of the floor-by-floor refurbishment of Charing Cross at risk.
The priorities coming out the Town Hall could not be further from what our residents expect.
