Reject TfL's proposals for Holland Park Roundabout

HPR

TfL are seeking to replace a cycle lane on Holland Park Roundabout in Shepherd’s Bush that has had a single accident over the course of several years with one of a similar style as C9 on King Street that has proven itself dangerous to cyclists.

Under this proposal a lane of traffic on the roundabout would be removed, making an already busy roundabout even busier, and pushing traffic onto the residential streets of Brook Green, Addison, Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith Grove.

However, our Labour Council here in Hammersmith & Fulham has not yet approved this cycle lane. That’s why working with residents here in Hammersmith & Fulham and neighbouring Kensington & Chelsea we have developed an alternative proposal that not only delivers safe cycle infrastructure but would not cause traffic chaos.

See the alternative Save Our Streets proposals here: https://sos10.co.uk/the-proposal/

So lets send the Labour Cabinet Member for Public Realm a clear message, that we the undersigned:

1.      Ask the Labour Cabinet Member for Public Realm to reject the TfL Holland Park Roundabout proposal.

2.      To consider the resident-led alternative proposal that is safe for cyclists and would not cause traffic chaos.
